"inhale courage, exhale fear"

I have been a steady blog reader for most of my life. Although my areas of interest have changed, I have always found blogs to follow and authors to aspire to. 

My own blogging history is short. It has always been a dream, but I never felt like I had important enough things to say or do. I tried a few here or there, but I always let fear hold myself back from living out a life-long dream. 

Today, though, I choose to inhale courage & exhale fear. This term is keyed from a wonderful young lady I worked with this summer. I am a camp counselor for my church & a very talented young woman wrote a song & these words were the chorus. They have resonated with me for the past few weeks & have encouraged me to this point. Finally starting my own blog. 

My direction isn't clear, more than anything I want to be able to document my own life for myself. 

So here goes nothing.
